About Danielle
Hi there! My name is Danielle McAfee-Thoenen, and I specialize in providing beautiful, timeless photography for expectant families, brand-new babies, and couples in love. My goal is to document genuine emotion and moments as they unfold, and to use these moments to beautifully tell your story.
I officially launched Danielle McAfee Photography in 2012, after more than 10 years of photographing my siblings, family, friends, and my own daughter. When I’m not spending time behind my camera, I also work as an attorney and volunteer for On Angels’ Wings.
Danielle McAfee Photography is a full-service studio, offering a wide range of professional, archival quality fine art prints, premium canvas, and heirloom albums.

My Philosophy + Style
I believe that the best images come without rigid poses, when you are able to just be yourself and act naturally. For this reason, you will find that my style is a combination of casual poses and candid photojournalism. My goal is to document genuine emotion and moments as they unfold, and to use these moments to beautifully tell your story.
As my client, you will receive friendly, personal service throughout your photography experience. I am always available to my clients by both phone and email, and am here to assist you with each step of the photography process. Whether you need suggestions for a photography location, recommendations on what to wear for your maternity or engagement session, or advice on narrowing down your favorite photos for an album or wall art collection, I am happy to help!
Scheduling Your Session
I am currently scheduling couples, engagement, maternity, newborn, and family sessions through 2024.
In order to give my clients the best experience possible, I only accept a limited number of portrait sessions per year. So, if you are interested in working together, please contact me ASAP to get on my calendar!
